The Dog, The Cat, and the Chicken!

You'd have to know our home and all the animals we have had who all got to know each other and form a bond together.We had a little dog like a sheep dog whose name was Tess, a white cat whose name was Pinky Lee, and our chicken whose name was Henrietta. Tess had the courage of a lion and when she ran off the only way I could get her to come home was to holler real loud. TESSIE JANE MCSHANE, YOU COME HOME RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!Pinky Lee was always wanting in the house and he got along with Tess quite well. Then there was Henrietta the red chicken! She was a trip. She followed us around like a puppy. Everywhere Eddie, especially, went... Henrietta was following along.In the winter they all stayed in the garage together where it was warm. One snowy day I looked out the window and on the outside window ledge was a dog, a cat and a chicken....all sitting on that ledge together. How I wished at the time that I could have gotten a picture of them all sitting there before they took off.Time passes and the kids have grown and gone from home. But the memories of them and all the pets they had still remain.
