"Jezzie and Mrs. Groundhog"

Jezzie (short for Jezebel) lays here on the floor near me and my computer with her head resting on the window seal. She has a birds-eye view of everything going on outside and she loves to watch the people on the walking trail. She can see the geese along the river and the cat that roams the trail and little bunnies cleaning themselves in the dust there.The old apple tree and the brush patch has it's own abundant amount of little wildlife seeming to vie for her attention and taunt her. Tiny apples are falling off the apple tree. Yesterday, it was so funny. Mrs. Groundhog picked up an apple in her little paws and sat straight up looking up at the window as if to say,...."Ha! Ha! Ha!, see me...I am right here and you can't get me!" Jezzie was not happy and was crying to get out the window.Needless to say...she is not a good dog when she gets outside. She would run off in an instant to chase the geese, the cat, the bunnies and especially Mrs. Groundhog!
