"Losing Our Abbie"

We lost our beloved pet Abbie and my heart has been broken for years now!

07/08/07

You know something, I did not realize when Abbie got sick how many other people go through the same thing. I used to belong to this group called Traffic Wave. I never did get the gist of it, it was an autoresponder type of business, but many others belonged to it and it is still going strong on the internet. I was so upset over Abbie that I posted to their forum that I would appreciate if anyone would say a prayer for her.It was pityful! They had had cats and dogs that they had not gotten over yet, either. I received messages from men and women from all over the place. One woman was from far away as Australia and so many of them told me they were crying with me and one man sent me a message his son had sent to him that the animals will wait for us at the "Rainbow Bridge" and they will know us when we appear and when we ourselves walk across that bridge to them. I can imagine their ears perking up and tails wagging and cats purring when we all get there! I know that the "Rainbow Bridge" is in Heaven!I asked our Abbie to wait for me there! I know all the other beloved pets are there, too. They are innocent and loving and deserve to be there.(You can now see our Abbie and our grandson Sean by clicking on my photo gallery....also the photo on my Pami forum is the ages the grandchildren were when Katie yelled out "Der's our Abbie!" and named her and how old Sean was when he said, "Hey Grandma, someone's knocking on our door!" when the people dropped Abbie off at our house.) (Katie is now going to be 17 in December 2nd. and Sean will soon be 21 years old on October 1st!....See how time passes.

I have an obsession with learning about life and then writing about the smallest of blessings which makes one happy and yet I know these blessings are many times overlooked. P.J.Simpson "Pami"
