"The Porch Rung and Jezzie"

06/30/07

Well, trouble just seems to follow Jezebel! I was outside for a long time on this cold morning by myself until Jezzie woke up then took her outside and she just plopped down on her rug instead of doing what she was supposed to do.Finally....The sun got to be too warm for her so she was whining and I brought her to the porch with me so I could sit in the sun and her in the shade.Well, she smelled the snake and being overwhelmed she stuck her head through the porch rungs and got her head caught. I know her ears hurt because she yanked and pulled squeezing her head back in the rungs. She is not happy! I truly think she reshaped her head! The black snake was coming out of his hole just partly so he could sun his head and a little of his body to warm it. We are in the house! She is laying here with her head on the window seal..SAFE!!

I have an obsession with learning about life and then writing about the smallest of blessings which makes one happy and yet I know these blessings are many times overlooked. P.J.Simpson

Knowing that the air in our insulated homes and tripled paned windows can cause allergies and poor health issues, I have chosen to begin my own business. Here is the link to it:http://wwwfreedomin4steps.com/pamsimpson
