Jezebel Learned to Understand Words!

Jezebel knows when we spell the word W A L K. It only took a few times and now if my husband spells it or I spell it, she is so excited she can hardly stand it.I have started to spell O U T S I D E to see how long it takes her to learn that word. We will try different ones.I talk to Jezebel all day when I am with her. If we leave I will tell her to answer the phone, be good and clean the house! If we are gone too long I will call her on the cell phone and leave a loud message so she will know we are thinking of her alone in the house.The other day I told her that I was going to take her outside but that I had to go downstairs and get her collar off the chair where I had hung it when we came in through the kitchen door. She took her usual flying leaps down the steps and when I came out in the kitchen she was looking at the collar hanging on the chair. Did she understand and go looking for herself? I think she certainly did.Dogs are dear ones aren't they? So are toads, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, groundhogs, pigs, etc...our hearts have so much room for love.
